Howdy, ya’ll. I hope your weekends were filled with chocolate and sleep. Mine was a slurry of sickness and writing angst, punctuated by trying to build an IKEA bed. No worries, time marches on and we all turn to ash in the end.
Now that the fun part of the blog is over, let’s get down to the nitty gritty (to borrow from Scott Rogowsky).
You should follow other writers on social media. It’s not just the polite thing to do, but they often offer outstanding advice for free. When you’re choosing whom to follow, make sure you put together a diverse list of creators in order to build toward a better education.
That means don’t just follow men, nor just white men, nor just cis/straight/white men. Follow women, follow non-binary, follow LGBTQ authors, follow artists and poets and directors and actors. Follow creators of all different kinds, and you will be delighted by the results.
Today, I’m going to recommend Delilah S. Dawson. She is an incredibly talented writer, and lately she’s been giving away HUGE tips for new and established writers. Go to her Twitter today and get your learn on.

As for me, I’m going to swim in some DayQuil and hopefully be dead soon. Or healed. Dead or healed, I’ll take my chances. Much love, ya’ll.
